Data Management is the page where you add your database holdings so items show up in your Summon searches.

Important Points to Remember

  • Not every database will display results in Summon.
  • The NC LIVE Catalog (SV-) contains a large number of databases.
  • ProQuest Central (BENPR) contains a large number of databases.
  • You may only own part of a database and need to add holdings manually or by sending holdings to ProQuest/Ex Libris (e.g. STAT!Ref).
  • Some databases will show duplicate results in Summon. This is frustrating, but to be expected. Submit a case to ProQuest/Ex Libris if you would like them to work on cleaning up specific duplications.
