Mission

The Archives at Surry Community College serves to preserve and maintain documents, photos, publications, and other materials relevant to the history of Surry Community College, the town of Dobson, and Surry County.

The Archives

The Archives contain records documenting the history, policies, activities, and organization of the College. Types of records include reports, minutes, records, student publications, photos, handbooks, etc.

In addition to our physical collection, the Library is also creating online collections and finding aids for many documents.

We are currently seeking donations for the Archives. If you have materials you believe fit with our mission, please contact the Library.
