How Tutor.com Works for Faculty

Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do I access Tutor.com?

  • Log into Tutor.com through the link in your Moodle course page. The system will recognize you as a faculty member. You will land on the main dashboard.

2. What can I find on my dashboard?

  • Number of sessions, average session length, average student rating, and more.

3. What data is available?

  • Click on the "On-Demand Report" tab to review individual tutoring sessions and a list of topics your students have sought help for.

4. What early alerts are available?

  • When you connect to the dashboard for the first time, you may select email options to receive early alerts for your students. Alerts include "Low Mastery Content," "Low Prerequisite Knowledge," and "Frequent Subject Request."

5. How can I provide Tutor.com my assignments and grading expectations?

  • The Academic Support Center will provide your assignments, expectations, and other information to our Tutor.com representative to be stored in our learning center. Email asc@surry.edu to provide information.
