To vote in the November 2020 election in North Carolina you must meet these requirements:
A U.S. citizen
A resident of the NC county for at least 30 days before the election
18 years old or older on Election Day. A 17-year-old may register and vote in the Primary if he or she will be 18 on the day of the General Election. Complete the regular voter registration form and submit it to your county Board of Elections
Not currently in state or federal prison or on parole for the conviction of a felony
Do I Need a Photo ID?
Voters are currently NOT required to show photo ID to vote. A federal district court blocked North Carolina's photo ID requirement, and an injunction remains in place until further notice.
